Whether your prescription specifies single vision, bifocal, trifocal, or progressive no lines, our staff of licensed opticians will be able to provide you with the lens options that best meet your visional needs as well as your personal preference. Most people are not even aware that they have a choice in lens materials. You can now choose a lens that fits your vision needs and your lifestyle.

 Lenses     

Single Vision - corrects one distance, nearsightedness (myopia)or farsightedness (hyperopia)
Bifocals - has two power zones, usually one for distance and one for near
Trifocals - has three power zones corrects one for distance, intermediate, and near
Progressive addition lens - seemless, multifocal design that progressively add power in the corridor between the upper distant portion and the lower near portion of the lens.

Lens Enhancements

Anti-Reflective Coatings - remove glare and reflections from the lens surface improving optical clarity and cosmetic appearance.
Hi-Index Materials - up to 20% thinner and 30% lighter than regular plastic
Mirror Coatings - cosmetic coating applied to sunglasses that reflects heat away from eyes, reduce glare, and increase visual comfort
Photochromic (Transitions) - lens that darkens when uv-light from the sun is present
Polarized - most complete sunglass lens that eliminates glare, enhances visual acuity, filters out harmful UV light and improves depth perception (see demonstration below)
Polycarbonate- thinner and lighter than regular plastic, and very impact resistant
Tint - variety of colors available for cosmetic enhancement, reduce eye strain, and provide a more fashionable look

Ultra Violet Coatings - filter out harmful UV rays that have been linked to cataracts and other eye health problems
